Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Rafael handles information in connection with Bike Book.
What we collect
Bike Book collects a limited amount of information about how the app is used, so that problems can be found and fixed and so that development effort goes where it is actually useful. This covers:
- app usage events, such as which screens are opened and which features are used
- device model, operating system version and app version
- approximate region, derived from your IP address and not stored as a precise location
- a randomly generated installation identifier, not linked to your name or email
It does not include the content you create in the app unless that is listed above.
How we use it
This information is used to diagnose crashes, understand which features get used, and decide what to build next.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Analytics data is retained only for as long as it is useful for the purposes above, and is deleted or aggregated after that. Anything stored on your device stays there until you delete it or remove the app.
Third parties
The app uses the following third-party services, which may process data under their own policies:
- TODO: analytics provider — product analytics and crash reporting
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].
Children
Bike Book is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
